Our Story

Nestled at the crossroads of east and west, Lissiya Farm finds its home on the modern Turkish west coast. Our visionary founder, Sinan Yilmaz, once roamed the treetops and mountains of the Aegean in his childhood. His profound connection with nature paved the way for a harmonious blend of his childhood passion for nature and a spirit of innovation.

Frequent family visits to Fethiye and Edremit during his upbringing deepened Sinan’s familiarity with olive trees and the artistry of olive oil. In early 2020, he founded Lissiya Farm with a mission to provide everyone with the purest and healthiest olive oil. To ensure your confidence in our products, we’ve endowed them with quality certifications.

These products, cherished within our family for decades, are now available to you, carrying the unmistakable fragrance of nature. Welcome to Lissiya Farm, where every drop of our olive oil is a testament to our commitment to purity, health, and the timeless bond between people and the land.

The name “Lissiya” pays homage to the rich history of the region; the Mediterranean/Aegean residents were once known as Lycians. Our olives are harvested using traditional methods, embracing simplicity and nature’s essence as the best safeguards for these precious fruits. In contrast to common belief, we advocate for the accessibility of clean, pesticide-free food from healthy soil to all. Therefore, our products contain no additives and are meticulously preserved in glass jars and bottles.

Creating Lissiya Farm

At Lissiya Farm, our journey began with a simple yet profound idea: providing everyone with access to natural, preservative-free olive oil. In a world filled with information about balanced diets and healthy living, we believe in the simplicity of incorporating natural olive goodness into everyday life. We grow alongside our consumers, learning from each passing year and letting their experiences shape our brand.

Anatolia, the heartland of olives, is their true home, and our mission is to share this precious gift with everyone in the purest, most organic form possible. Our annual harvest season, commencing in September/October, marks the beginning of our meticulous process.

Step one involves the careful harvest of olives from the trees. Step two is dedicated to rinsing and meticulously separating the olives from leaves and dirt. The third step, milling or pressing, is where olives are artfully transformed to extract their juice and oils. Finally, in step four, we lovingly bottle and label our olive oil.

Through these steps, we craft the most natural and healthy olive oil, ready to grace your table and enhance your dishes. It’s our way of ensuring that the simple pleasure of consuming natural olives shines and remains accessible to all.
